This project explores a conceptual stage lighting design inspired by BTS Arirang, developed as a design exercise for a large-scale stadium environment.
The proposal focuses on light as a tool for rhythm, collective movement and emotional amplification, responding to the scale, energy and choreography of a mass-audience concert.
Conceived for a hypothetical stadium configuration, the project investigates how lighting structures, color, intensity and spatial composition can support narrative moments within a high-impact live performance.
This exercise reflects Sophya Acosta Lighting Design Studio’s approach to concert and stadium lighting design, where light operates as both architectural structure and emotional language.
