In our practice, light on stage is never a passive layer added onto a space or draped over performers. Instead, it operates as an active actant, engaging in a fluid, continuous dialogue with all other languages of the scene. Within this constant exchange, rhythm is born.
This approach requires extreme delicacy regarding the temporal aspect of light. Cue by cue, light slowly constructs a singular universe governed by its own laws—defining its own sense of gravity, its own unique way of dawning. Whether designing for theatre, contemporary circus, dance, or live concerts, we treat light as a living partner in the performance.
When translating these live experiences for the screen, our focus is to capture the raw, immediate intensity felt within the venue. Through precise camera lighting and close collaboration with broadcast teams, we design to transport the digital audience directly into the heart of the performance, making the screen dissolve so they feel as though they are standing inside the venue itself.

Cómo hacer una obra para romperla (Experimental Theatre): An exploration of scenic boundaries, fragmentation, and safety limits, where the progression of light accompanies the raw, live desire of the performers.
Diskodrom 0.0 (Immersive Theatre): An interactive performance staged in Barcelona where light defines the intimate, sensual rhythm of a collective dance floor, transforming spectators into active participants.
Cabasoli 1ra (Contemporary Circus): A creation where the temporal rhythm of light dialogues with gravity, physical tension, and acrobatic bodies in movement.

With experience in international projects such as Olympic Broadcasting Services (Paris 2024), we understand the workflows, time constraints, and technical standards behind professional broadcast lighting.
Achieving this requires a meticulous, collaborative dialogue with Directors of Photography, camera crews, and post-production teams. Rather than flattening the image, we design with the camera's technical requirements and sensor limits in mind. By understanding the planned post-production and color-grading workflows from the outset, we ensure the camera captures the highest quality raw light. This careful calibration minimizes the need for digital retouching, preserving the authentic contrast, depth, and luminous quality of the live performance .
To ensure that our scenic worlds are stable and reproducible, we support our artistic vision with rigorous pre-production planning and on-site coordination:
Scenic Dialogue & Cue Structure: Collaborative development of the dramatic cue list, front-of-house lighting direction, and performance-synced pacing.
Technical Documentation & Tour-Ready Plots: Detailed light plots, patch lists, and comprehensive technical documentation optimized for international touring and co-productions.
Broadcasting and Multicamera Calibration: Specialized camera-balancing techniques, network lighting orchestration, and extensive offline pre-visualization to meet rigorous international broadcast standards.
Apártate de la oscuridad (Interactive Virtual Experience): A transmedia interactive piece developed within international digital performance residencies, where light, narrative, and real-time mobile interactions merge to engage remote audiences.
This project was part of the Kalliópê Residency by Épica La Fura dels Baus Foundation.
Ensayo de lo provisorio (Transmedia Test Lab): A virtual experiment balancing multi-camera setups, live video-scenography, and digital environments to explore the boundaries of remote performativity.
